Hello all! I am currently trying to get a map to centre around a postcode in the UK. What I have found is that if I set a property Town and then call that within the query then it works : {{#ask: [[Category:Hotels]] |?Coordinates|?MainImage|?Strapline|centre={{#geocode:{{{Town|}}}, UK}}|icon=MarkerH2.png|template=Pop-Up|format=googlemaps|width=720|height=680|zoom=12|autozoom=off}} If the property "Town" on that page is set as "Lancaster" then it works great! However if the "Town" is input is as a post code (ie. "LA1 3EF" instead of "Lancaster") then it doesn't work when I think logically it should? I have tried with and without spaces and even hardcoding it (replacing {{{Town|}}} with the actual postcode of say NW3 1AA. If anyone wants a poke around drop me a mail and I can give you a login to the page. Both properties (PostCode and Town) are defined as strings. Andy |

Hey, make sure you are using Maps 1.0 or later, which uses Google Maps v3, which should be able to handle these postcodes. Also drop the geocode call, which is probably using geonames instead of the Google service. You can directly pass an address to the center param, so there is no need for using geocode at all.
