The version of Semantic Forms now in SVN is 2.1alpha, or a test version of
all the new functionality. I won't go into the full details of it, but the
main new features are:
- the syntax for autocompletion has changed - instead of "autocomplete on
category=", for instance, it's "input type=text with autocomplete|values
- Special:CreateForm lets you set all of the form-field parameters (you can
actually see the full new syntax that way)
- dropdowns, radiobuttons etc. support "values from property" and "values
from namespace", in addition to the previous "values from category" and
"values from concept".
- you can create popup forms, by adding the "|popup" parameter to #formlink
For those of you who use Semantic Forms, and get code via SVN, it would be
great if you could update to the latest version, test out the new
functionality, and let me know if anything goes wrong. I'm especially
concerned about #1 - I tried to add in backward-compatibility, so that the
old syntax would still work the same whenever possible, but there might be
