Hi, I'm looking for a way to have the effect of an anchor without the trouble of making them. Is there any way to make a link, that when clicked on, does the following (or something with the same end result): (1) loads the linked page (2) searches for specific text on that page (3) scrolls to the found text Highlighting the found text would be useful as well. -david |

Hi David, This isn't an SMW question, it's just a MediaWiki question. But the answer, unfortunately, is "no", as far as I know. -Yaron On Fri, Oct 29, 2010 at 11:04 PM, David Epstein <dav...@um...> wrote: > Hi, > > > I'm looking for a way to have the effect of an anchor without the > trouble of making them. > > Is there any way to make a link, that when clicked on, does the > following (or something with the same end result): > > (1) loads the linked page > (2) searches for specific text on that page > (3) scrolls to the found text > > Highlighting the found text would be useful as well. > > > -david > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Nokia and AT&T present the 2010 Calling All Innovators-North America contest > Create new apps & games for the Nokia N8 for consumers in U.S. and Canada > $10 million total in prizes - $4M cash, 500 devices, nearly $6M in marketing > Develop with Nokia Qt SDK, Web Runtime, or Java and Publish to Ovi Store > http://p.sf.net/sfu/nokia-dev2dev > _______________________________________________ > Semediawiki-user mailing list > Sem...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/semediawiki-user > -- WikiWorks · MediaWiki Consulting · http://wikiworks.com |
