Heiya, after upgrade to the latest version of SF I am experiencing the following strange behaviour: {} is properly picking up the ID from {} and creates the page 110001. The template is to pick up the ID via }}} and to enter . After the upgrade from 2.0.9 it enters . I will appreciate your feedback. Cheers kgh |

Hi, I didn't really understand the issue (the subject line could have been more informative, too) - what is this template you're talking about? And does the problem show up in the displayed page, in the wiki-text, or in the form? -Yaron On Wed, Apr 6, 2011 at 9:05 AM, kghbln <med...@kg...> wrote: > Heiya, > > after upgrade to the latest version of SF I am experiencing the following > strange behaviour: > > {} is properly picking up the ID > from {} and > creates the page 110001. Hi. I've also noticed this. Having to replace standard MW PAGENAME with %7B%7BPAGENAME%7D%7D is going to cause a lot of confusion I think. Why can't the form parse standard MW markup? Any thoughts on not being able to blank fields that have a default set? I think this is a major regression and is causing major headaches. Cheers Neill. Yeah, you got it but the solution provided does not work. However your response lead me to a simple solution for my problem. My form and template combination war too complicated and dates from my very early beginnings with SMW and SF. I now removed {} from the form and changed the template to pick up the page name created by the form to ID::PAGENAME. Voilà! Admittedly I am sSometimes am a bit too complicated in doing things whilst live could be so easy sometimes. :) @ Yaron: It is true that the subject line was a bit uninformative. I will improve. The problem occured in wikitext and on the template page belonging to the form, but not on the form itself. The strange thing though was that the queried value for the property was not Semantic Forms permissions test as shown on Special:Browse but the intended ID.
