Unfortunatelly, the database conversion in the original 0.4 release had a=20 minor bug that affects you if: * you used Semantic MediaWiki in version 0.3 or below, * back then, you allready had articles annotated with attributes that=20 contained spaces in their names, * you already downloaded 0.4 and did the upgrade. In this case, download the current refreshed 0.4 tarball again, replace the= =20 files from ./specials/SMWAdmin/ in your installation, go to Special:SMWAdmi= n=20 and type in "?action=3Drestore" at the end of the URL. Press return.=20 Alternatively, you can edit and save all articles which have the problemati= c=20 attributes (so in principle, the bug corrects itself over time). Typical=20 symptoms are that some attribute names appear twice in Special:Attributes. Note: *Don't* use "?action=3Drestore" with the *original* 0.4-SMWAdmin unle= ss=20 you upgraded from 0.3a_CVS. If you are at 0.3a_CVS and still want to upgrad= e=20 to 0.4, send me an email ;-) We apologize for the inconvenience (though it might well be that 0 users ar= e=20 affected by this in total ... ;-) Markus P.S. As I just noted, my stupid method of overwriting the released files to= =20 correct minor bugs reset SourceForges download counter :-( Next time on suc= h=20 occasions, I will create 0.4.1 ... =2D-=20 Markus Kr=F6tzsch Institute AIFB, University of Karlsruhe, D-76128 Karlsruhe ma...@ai... phone +49 (0)721 608 7362 www.aifb.uni-karlsruhe.de/WBS/ fax +49 (0)721 693 717 |
