Hi - I am installing a new MW (V1.16.0beta3) with SMW (V1.5.2alpha-1), SF (V1.9.1), HeaderTabs(V0.7), Halo ACL, Script Manager & Semantic Signup. Please forgive if I ask a few questions about this configuration that have already been answered. 1/ Because SF caters to a local YUI package, but HeaderTabs does not, should YUI only be loaded from yahoo? Does Script Manager handle knowing the correct JS to load? 2/ Any known problems using the WikiEditor with Semantic Forms, rather than the FCKEditor? 3/ [[Extension Talk:Semantic Signup]] says their package is broken by SF 1.8.8? Is there a workaround via SF so that I can get data from a new user during the registration process? Or do I need to redesign my process? Thank you very much! John |

WikiEditor is an extension part of the Usuabiity Initiative extension. I came across it installing the mw 1,16 beta release. Ah, I see. None of that will appear in the form, though maybe it should (just like the current edit toolbar should probably appear in the form, above the free text, now). But in any case, it's a non-issue. -Yaron On Tue, Jun 22, 2010 at 12:46 PM, John McClure <jmc...@hy...>wrote: > WikiEditor is an extension part of the Usuabiity Initiative extension. Hi John, On Mon, Jun 21, 2010 at 01:07:04PM -0800, John McClure wrote: > I am installing a new MW (V1.16.0beta3) with SMW (V1.5.2alpha-1), SF > (V1.9.1), HeaderTabs(V0.7), Halo ACL, Script Manager & Semantic Signup. > Please forgive if I ask a few questions about this configuration that have > already been answered. > > 1/ Because SF caters to a local YUI package, but HeaderTabs does not, should > YUI only be loaded from yahoo? Does Script Manager handle knowing the > correct JS to load? The Scriptmanager loads the library that comes with it and which is locally installed. From my experience you should only use one version of a library, no matter if it's locally installed or used from the web. In this particular case, you may upgrade the local version of YUI by downloading a new version and replace the existing one. Before doing this, check that the extensions that use the YUI library support the version that you want to install. If the headertabs extension allows you to define a local location for the YUI library then I would use this one. However, AFAIK we did not build in support for the Scriptmanager in the HeaderTabs extension, neigther for Semantic Forms 1.9.1 (yet). > 2/ Any known problems using the WikiEditor with Semantic Forms, rather than > the FCKEditor? There are no problems known if you are using the normal wiki editor instead of the FCKeditor. > 3/ [[Extension Talk:Semantic Signup]] says their package is broken by SF > 1.8.8?
