Hi Sudan, It appears that what you're asking about is two-dimensional data, which can be accomplished using multiple-instance templates within forms, as well as the Semantic Internal Objects extension: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Semantic_Forms#Multiple-instance_templates -Yaron On Fri, Oct 29, 2010 at 10:16 PM, Sudan <meetsudanvkv@...> wrote: > > Hi, > > I tried with forms when i enter the value for forms and saved > it,i get the information in single dimensional table. But i need the my > values in two dimensional table. > > > that is when i enter the values in the form and save it,it should display in > two dimensional table. Is it possible,if then how? > -- > View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/entering-values-to-the-table-in-semantic-media-wiki-without-going-to-edit-page-tp30068217p30089655.html > Sent from the Semantic Mediawiki - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Nokia and AT&T present the 2010 Calling All Innovators-North America contest > Create new apps & games for the Nokia N8 for consumers in U.S. and Canada > $10 million total in prizes - $4M cash, 500 devices, nearly $6M in marketing > Develop with Nokia Qt SDK, Web Runtime, or Java and Publish to Ovi Store > http://p.sf.net/sfu/nokia-dev2dev > _______________________________________________ > Semediawiki-user mailing list > Semediawiki-user@... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/semediawiki-user > -- WikiWorks · MediaWiki Consulting · http://wikiworks.com |

Hi, we are happy to announce that SMW now has a new homepage *and* a new logo! To see the change, regular visitors to our site might have to use "Shift-Reload" (e.g. shift+ctrl+r on Firefox) to reload the new styles of the page. Here are the main improvements: * The new homepage has a more functional structure and more direct links to relevant sections. We have made an effort to not let the amount of information become too overwhelming. * The new logo provides a expressive, recognisable, and friendly face to the project. Further versions and sources will be published soon. The frame, colour scheme, and font will also be useful to create a more unified appearance for logos of SMW extensions. * The new "Wiki of the Month" section introduces one exciting and inspiring SMW site each month. The new series will be useful for users to learn about SMW, but also for wiki communities and tool developers to showcase their projects. Don't miss your opportunity of getting featured! Contact wikiofthemonth(at)semantic-mediawiki.org for proposing a site as Wiki of the Month. These changes largely complete a number of action items that have been discussed at recent SMWCons (the logo actually has been discussed since more than a year now). Various further changes will still happen, e.g. to improve the look of sub-pages and to change language versions. Some details could also still change but the basic new style and "corporate identity" should be stable now. This is a big step forward for the project, and we would like to thank everybody who contributed to these efforts. Not all wishes could eventually be taken into account for the new main page or logo, but we think that the new style honours many of the comments we got. Cheers, Markus |

Hi, Sudan - MediaWiki works in a way it requires you to click edit, either the whole page or a section, it's the built-in way of editing. Unless you perform some serious hack, you can't do in-place editing, regardless you're using plain wiki pages or semantic forms. However, there are people trying to make it happen. I know an experimental site (forgot the link, but I can find it out if you really want it) that allows you to click on any sentence and edit in-place. There is also an extension called WYSYWYG extension, it may offer something you like, check it out at http://smwforum.ontoprise.com/smwforum/index.php/Help:WYSIWYG_Extension. I also happen to know a new (more powerful) version is coming out soon. Hope this helps, Jesse On Wed, Oct 27, 2010 at 8:07 AM, Sudan <meetsudanvkv@...> wrote: > > Hi, > > I have created tables in semantic media wiki, now i want to enter > the values in th table. > I can do it by going to edit page and adding values there to the > table. That > is working fine. > > But I need to enter the values straightly in table without going to edit > page. That is i need to enter the values straightly to the table.how it can > be done? > > > -- > View this message in context: > http://old.nabble.com/entering-values-to-the-table-in-semantic-media-wiki-without-going-to-edit-page-tp30068217p30068217.html > Sent from the Semantic Mediawiki - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Nokia and AT&T present the 2010 Calling All Innovators-North America > contest > Create new apps & games for the Nokia N8 for consumers in U.S. and Canada > $10 million total in prizes - $4M cash, 500 devices, nearly $6M in > marketing > Develop with Nokia Qt SDK, Web Runtime, or Java and Publish to Ovi Store > http://p.sf.net/sfu/nokia-dev2dev > _______________________________________________ > Semediawiki-user mailing list > Semediawiki-user@... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/semediawiki-user > |
