Hi Bernhard, very interesting! I am currently working in an early stage of setting up a CKAN test installation for OGD for a small city in Germany. It's a private "project" for now, so no participants from government site or any company. CKAN really lacks in representing the data like we can do it with Semantic Mediawiki and Semantic Result Formats on-the-fly. I was also thinking about using SMW for this purpose, but currently we ended in CKAN, since CKAN is (once it's installed which is harder than MW) quite easy to use and add structured data into it, or just be linking to external data sources. A SMW approach is harder to setup, I guess. But nevertheless very promising. So, I would appreciate if you could report your progress on this list from time to time, especially if you have managed to combine CKAN with SMW.
