I didn't even read far enough to see that there was actually a form below. At that point in the text on MediaWiki, the reader has very little preparation for what he/she *should* see. It might be better to move the example to where they have already built up some expectations. > Feel free to add something in if > you think so. Let me think about how to do this. Maybe I'll put the example up on referata.com and get a screengrab from it, for an illustration. > (The deletion log is an artifact of the page having been > created many times by random users coming from the documentation, then > deleted by me.) So you have to fix it up *manually* every time? Better to just freeze a copy of the html. Almost anything would improve on the present situation -- arriving at a page that describes itself as deleted, which I found very confusing -- and I think most people would. -michael turner > On Thu, Jun 14, 2012 at 1:01 PM, Michael Turner > <mic...@gm...> wrote: >> On Thu, Jun 14, 2012 at 11:42 PM, Yaron Koren <ya...@wi...> wrote: >>> Hi, >>> >>> That page is purposely kept deleted; the form is supposed to be blank >>> (though really the example could work either way).
