Hi, I've been trying make the name of the page created by a form be autogenerated. I followed the instructions given at http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Semantic_Forms My form is called JobForm My template is called JobTemplate I added the following information into my form: {{{info|page name=<JobTemplate[JOBNUM]> opinion item <unique number;start=1>}}} I've been trying to then access the form by using the syntax : .../wiki/Special:FormEdit/Formname (in my case this is /wiki/Special:FormEdit/JobForm), but I get an error that this page does not exist. >From what I can, I'm following the instructions exactly. Is there something I'm doing wrong? thank you for your help, dhivya On Tue, Jun 15, 2010 at 9:52 AM, CW Dillon <cwd...@gm...> wrote: > You can use a formlink and Semantic Forms > http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Semantic_Forms#The_one-step_process > > > On Tue, Jun 15, 2010 at 10:45 AM, dhivya arasappan <dh...@gm...>wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> >> Is there any way to have a button saying 'new ID' and clicking on it will >> auto-generate a new number (of course making sure not to give already >> existing numbers) ?
