I'm not using RAP store on SMW, but I used RAP on my MySemanticProfile project and regret it as RAP has quite a few bugs and seems dead for a while now - best alternative I saw is ARC and have plans to rewrite in it, but didn't found time for it yet.

If you're planning to use ARC for SMW, it would be quite interesting to know what your experience was.

SMW still contains code for using the RAP (RDF API for PHP) store as a
backend. This is mostly a proof of concept, and RAP now no longer seems to be
maintained anyway. Is anybody actually using RAP with SMW?

If not, I will probably just remove the code from the distribution (it could
still be found online to guide future implementations of RDF storage bindings,
but it need not be part of SMW's code).
