I dont mind but api does not support them (as far as i know from searching for "blogger gdata api tags")

may it makes sense to check Atom publishing protocol draft? Or query for existing blog entry with tags via raw XML? thing is - tags are there, so they could be in XML respond in "native form", but this is just guess...
