Nucleus V2 / News: Recent posts

Me and Dan moved house this Summer, and in the ensuing chaos have neglected to do much development to Nucleus V2. We're both currently working on adapting a php-nuke site for our counter-strike:source clan at the moment, so are a little bit busy!

Nucleus V2 has hit a stable(ish) point and does 90% of what we want it to do. As it started out as a personal project for our media computers we've not really seen any reason to add more functionality to it at the moment.... read more

Well it took some time but it's finally here. This is a strictly beta release and has a lot of unknown bugs. If you find any we would really appreciate any feedback in the forums.

You can test the new multi monitor code by pressing F1 to F4 on a dual screen system and play with the results.

Well thought its about time i posted some new info about nucleus. Ive been busy working on my new job so i havent had much time to develope nucleus. There have been some new features and additions but i hope to get them compiled and a new installer should be availible soon.

The latest compile is now available for download. This is the first build to contain the new config program that allows you to customize Nucleus. Lots of new fixes and random tweaks.

Well its late, but here it is. Lots of updates, fixes and new little changes as usual. The list of things to do however is getting very small now. Stable release is nearing sight!

The latest compile is now available. Again there are a lot of new little features and improvements accross the board. Main changes include: better image caching and memory management, fixed all bugs with the new text formats on thumbnails and list view, complete support for automatically creating a windows samba session when connecting to a network computer that you default credentials doesn't work for.

The new version has been finished and uploaded. Lots of fixes and much needed little features. Read the change log for full details.

A load of changes have been uploaded to the site. the FAQ is now in full working order, please populate it with as many usefull questions as you can think off and we will reply and build the FAQ!

The bugs section is next on our list but probably wont be up and running for a while yet.

Sorry its a few days late, heres what has been changing over the past few days. Theres a lot of rendering issues and text wrap issues but this is a beta after all.

The latest build of Nucleus is coming along nicely. Ive been very busy sorting out the website and coding new stuff in Nucleus so sorry about the lack of builds. I WILL upload a new version tonight no matter what so that you can see whats happening.

The current build of Nucles V2.222a has some issues with thumbnails not working etc... The latest build will be uploaded tonight when its finished.

The websites FAQ section is now half done. You can submit new questions and browse existing answers. Not everything works yet but we hope to have it finished withing a week.

The website is now coming along nicely. The features and screenshots pages are nearly finished and we hope to have a working FAQ submision system up and running a short while.

New Beta release will also be coming out within the next 2-3 days.

Nucleus V2 is now underway. Plans are to have a finished stable version in the next month. Regular Beta compiles will be upload as soon as they are compiled.

Lots of new features now added. Check out the readme.txt for release changes and features.

Well ive finaly started getting my act together and am going full beta release with my new project Nucleus. Theres not much info on the project yet so just download and have a play.

A full website is under developement and will be up as soon as possible.

Sorry but for now Seed is no more. We intend to take this project further in the furture but for now time and the scale of the project has taken its toll.

Soon our new project "Nucleus" will be up on source forge as a small side project for Seed. Beta is due to be release in two weeks so check back.

Over the holidays seed has had to take a side line to other things going on. Now that everythings settled done again weve started moving towards a fully functional beta version by mid Febuary. No exact date as of yet but it will post as soon as weve decided on one.

New compile now availible. Features the new code written by DivotPowell to read the source and generate the code required so the core knows what api functions are implemented and how they work. Soon to feature autodocumentation directly form the source.

The newest compile of the core is now ready. Its got the first implementations of the new Grab and Alpha codesets. It also is the first core to start using our new code for self documenting its own API by scanning the source code.

Well whatever was stopping me from uploading the files its now fixed. The new compile and source for the client v014 is now availible.

The new unstable version of the client would have been up today, but, the upload dir for source forge seems to be not working right now. I will check back soon to see if its up again so i can get the files to you. Get the files from the sites below in the mean time.

New core compile with new features added. Video window now has a border. And a few other additions to the api have been implemented. Check out the change log for details.

The latest code that weve been working on over night is now availible for download. The database format hsa changed slightly (sorry) so you will have to start again with the new one.

The source forge site is now almost complete. All current working code is now in the downloads section ready for use. Mac Widgets and PHP code coming soon.
