I'm getting the following error on a new installation following the "snort 2.8.6 setup guide on fedora 13" when I open basic-1.4.5 in my browser:
Warning: date() : It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /var/www/html/base-1.4.5/base_main.php on line 138
This message is repeated for lines 139, 140, 147,148,149,150,158,159 and 160.
I tried entering the timezone in php.ini and restarting httpd and the firefox to no aval.
