Hello,

I'm using base 1.2.7
Apache 2.0.58-r2
MySQL 5.0.32
OS : Gentoo 2006.1

I've followed this tutorial :
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-399801.html

But the same with other, for example:
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Apache2_with_BASE

Everythings works fine except, when I've got a listing resulting from search critera and then click in the ID column on an item (for example: #1-(1-2)) , I get this error message :

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/base/includes/base_state_citems.inc.php on line 1045

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/base/includes/base_state_citems.inc.php on line 319

This does not occurs , if I click on the same item but get the listing by clicking on Today's alerts or Last 24 Hours alerts etc ...on the homepage !

Can you try the CVS version that was checked in today?

Thanks a lot Brian , you're simply the best ;-)

It works for me too. I just had to modify the patch to make it works with my gentoo 2006.1
I've posted it as patch 1649042.

    Thanks again.

Does this patch replace the code that was checked in to CVS or does the CVS version also fix the problem?

    Hi,

    firstly thanks for yous support.

Concerning the CVS version, I haven't test it yet because I receveid all messages (patch+CVS patch) at once and first try the patch on the source from my genntoo.
So I could not say about the CVS version.

I must also say that I'm a newbie and don't know how to use the CVS version but if you can explain me howto do it,maybe I could try...

    yannx,

See http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=103348 for information on using CVS to access the BASE repository.
