Hi Slobodan, I tried reproducing the error and I do not see the searcher.exe file fail to load. The "preferences" file has the Top/Left/Height/Width listed as whole numbers (although internally they are handled as decimals). I edited the preferences file for the Top/Left values to the various values you tried, and each time it worked successfully. Does the application fail to start up for you? If yes, do you have any event logs for those failures? I wonder if you have a dual monitor setup with different...

SEARCHER.EXE is a top-notch program without which I cannot imagine further work on developing business applications with numerous source code files. But, I have a question for the respected author: Am I doing something wrong in the configuration of the SEARCHER.EXE program or is it something else: SEARCHER 2.1.1, as well as all older versions, which I used without problems with Windows XP and Windows 10, do not work well with my Windows 11 Pro version 24H2: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor....
