I will be changing the license soon with a future release of SEAL. I still am trying to figure out a good way of implementing iterators. I don't quite like the way it is in STL. Once I finalize and implement this, I will upgrade the status to beta and "upgrade" the license to something more liberal.

If you want your library to be actually used you shouldn't license it under GPL. Why not LGPL or a more liberal license like BSD or MIT?

The SEAL license is now the liberal MIT License.
