I was looking for a good emulator CP/M on my Mac OS X platform (iMac i7, MacBook) to resurrect a vintage computer.
This one is very good thank you.
I used the TRS Model 4p under Montezuma CP/M 2.2.
As it worked very well, I imported a lot of software i used in the 70's (MASM, F80, PL/M and MBASIC …).
All worked well.
Then I tried to emulate a hard disk, since the software pile became high.
I succeeded with LDOS (messing up with the drives naming convention) but with CP/M no avail.
It seems the BIOS does not support hard disks.
Could you help, or am I obliged to get my hands dirty with BIOS patching etc ….
Thank you,
JLAP
