I've had the same problem this morning: fixed by installing
swig-1.3.23 .

Interesting that 1.3.23 fixed it.  I'm still on 1.3.22 here myself.  
I've removed the problem lines so it should work with 1.3.22 now as 
well.  Please let me know if the problem still occurs for anyone under 
1.3.22.

Any idea what 23 was doing differently that allowed it to work?
