Hi, I am experimenting with the SDCC compiler with the aim of using it with a Cygnal processor. Looking though this archive I can see that people are doing just that already. My very simple question is, how do I define the memory map. I have seen linker command line options that define the start address of the various memory areas, but how do I define their size. I'm sure there is something obvious I have overlooked here - a link to the relevant manual page or an example command line would be greatly appreciated. Cygnal 8051F120. Thanks in advance. _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself with cool new emoticons http://www.msn.co.uk/specials/myemo |

Hi Ken, The documentation for defining memory parameters is in sections 3.2.3 and 3.2.4 of the user manual. 3.2.3: http://sdcc.sourceforge.net/doc/sdccman.html/node45.html 3.2.4: http://sdcc.sourceforge.net/doc/sdccman.html/node46.html Josh > -----Original Message----- > From: sdc...@li... > [mailto:sdc...@li...]On Behalf Of Ken Barlow > Sent: Friday, January 23, 2004 6:05 AM > To: sdc...@li... > Subject: [Sdcc-user] Newbie linker question - Cygnal > > > Hi, > > I am experimenting with the SDCC compiler with the aim of using it with a > Cygnal processor.
