SDCC users and developers, 3 months after the SourceForge Compile Farm has been discontinued (see https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=665363), the SDCC daily snapshot builds are back (see http://sdcc.sourceforge.net/snap.php). Currently 32bit Linux x86, 64bit Linux amd64 and 32bit Windows (mingw) builds are available. They are all built on a 64bit Fedora Core 6 Linux AMD Sempron machine, provided by Erik Pertich. We are still missing someone who will make the Mac OS X builds. Any volunteer? If we won't find anybody, we will be constrained to remove the OS X from supported platforms :-( Certainly volunteers for builds on other HW/OS platforms are welcome as well! Many thanks to Erik for his enormous contribution! Borut |

Hi Borut, I have a PowerPC (Mac Mini) running Linux (Ubuntu). I was following the guidelines in http://sdcc.sourceforge.net/release_wiki/index.php?page=HOWTO+Make+Snapshot+Builds+on+the+Developer+Machine I am not sure which .mk file to use in step 11. Rodrigo, the <hostname>.mk with the following content will probably do the job: ---- # PPC on Linux 2.6 TARGETOS = ppc-unknown-linux2.x HOSTOS = ppc-unknown-linux2.x --- replace 2.x with the version of glibc library installed on the machine. And now Mac OS X snapshot builds are back too! This time we have to thank Steven Borley who lent his machine. Everybody: "thank you, Steven!". Hi Borut, This machine is online all the time running some services such as webpages and alike. It would be no big deal to setup a cron job. I just cannot promise I'll check the logs on an every-day basis. On the other hand I guess there is not so many users with this machine setup out there. Perhaps interesting for those using Linux in their old iBooks, or other Mac G4 machines... Anyway let me know if I can help any further, it is really not such a big deal for me to build these if compared with all the work you developers have been doing in order to provide us this very useful open-source compiler. I will stick with the first option meanwhile... Regards, Guerra On 3/19/07, Borut Razem <bor...@si...> wrote: > Rodrigo Guerra wrote: > > Hi Borut, > > > > I just finished it.
