I have a variable in external space, but I only want to use the first 256
byte address space. So that port2 is still free to use.
but when I use the variable the instruction to access it is 16 bit.

Is there a way to tell the compiler to use only the two index registers
instead of dptr ???
Certain Large Corps has Engineers that qualifies in 5 weeks instead of 4 to
Leon's "5 week Engineer" rule book:
Rule #1: If in doubt reload.
Rule #2: If rule #1 fail FDISK and reload.
Rule #3: If rule #2 fail blame hardware.
Rule #4: If rule #3 fail get a new job or get LINUX.
