I put a sdcc2.2.2_7-11-01winbin.zip on the sourceforge site
in the ftp area as well as the web/file/v2.2.2/ directory.
It includes cygwin binaries, cygwin extra libs
(c:\sdcc\bincyg\extra\cygwin1.dll,sh.exe), and borland native
Libs are put in (sdcc\lib, sdcc\include).
Made a readme.txt file in root which has setup info.
Also some extra instructions in compiling simple\hi.c.
I consider this as kindof a BETA release. But assuming
it works OK, we probably want to link it to our web
page and all considering our winbin offerings in the past
have been pretty weak.
Michael, some of the z80 stuff bombed out on me
compiling with cygwin(a few other things too), but
I figure I'd leave this stuff for future. I did
some hand copying of docs, libs and stuff to generate
this. Hopefully Mr Hopes automation will take care
of this in the future.
I would suggest that we bump the .version thing more
often, it can't hurt right? I'm not up on the finer
points of marking versions in CVS maybe someone wants
to give me tips on this. If I bump .version to 2.2.3
do I put some extra tag in when I check it in via
CVS? How to?
Dave, if you do any updates to the web-page, the
link from the web-page to the project page is broke,
I think sourceforge probably changed the location...
