I found my problem that I reported in the previous e-mail (that hasn't
made its way through the list yet). Apparenely, the sdcc source is
depending on the fact that GC_malloc clears its memory. malloc(3) does
not, so bad things happened. I use calloc instead (which does clear the
memory it returns) and things are better. I'm able to compile the libraries
on my alpha.
I'll try to neaten up my support for --disable-boehm-gc and check it
in sometime today, along with the random 64bit fix.
PS: This mailing list is *extremely* slow. A day?
