I am working on SDCC libraries for infineon XC866 microcontroller.Now I
am trying to implement float powf(float x,float y).
The problem which I face with the open source is there is a memory
overflow on XC866 when I use this function.
This is due to large code size of expf(logf(x) * y) and the printf for
floats . I am trying hard to get some different algorithm to implement
Whether there is anyother way to implement this function?
Whether there is anyother ways to decrease the code size.I tried to
reduce the code size for expf(),but this was not effective,since I do no
the algorithm in which it works.
