Sandeep, Johan and others,
I have written a script to convert register definition header files from
Keil to sdcc format.
There are dozens of different header files available from the Keil web site:
Using this script it would be easy to increase the number of supported
microcontrollers while maintaining Keil compatibility.
Becouse of the Copyright it is probably not a good idea to store the
converted header files in the sdcc repository...
Since the header files are available for free over the internet, I don't see
any difficulties to publish the script.
I have several questions:
1. Should I store the conversion script in the sdcc tree?
2. If yes where?
3. Should I make an announcement that the script is availabl?
4. Should I mention, that the Keil header files are available for free from
the Keil site?
