[sdcc-devel] Putting the f8 port into trunk

The f8 is still a work in progress; the instruction set won't change
much, but the opcode map will. No hardware implementation exists. There
is Verilog code that can be used to have an f8 on two FPGA boards
(tested, can run simple programs, such as Drhystone and Whetstone).
Currently, the f8 port lives in the f8 branch (apart from uCsim in trunk
having f8 support).
Would it be ok to put the f8 port into trunk soon?
