It would be helpful if you added a list or a link to a
list on your main page and/or in your Wiki of the
supported devices.  It would also help to have a status
on partially supported devices.  I still don't know how
supported the PIC18F family is.

SDCC/pic16 fully supports the pic18f family.

Directly supported devices comprise the following list:
18f1220, 18f2220, 18f242, 18f2455, 18f248, 18f252, 18f2550,
18f258, 18f4220, 18f4331, 18f442, 18f4455, 18f448, 18f4520,
18f452, 18f458, 18f6520, 18f6620, 18f6680, 18f6720, 18f8520,
18f8620, 18f8680, 18f8720

(obtained via ls in device/include/pic16).

Using 'sdcc -mpic16 -phelp' yields a similar list.

Indirectly supported devices are all of the pic18f-family;
you might need to add another header and copy/adjust one of
the existing device libraries (in device/lib/pic16/libdev)
or place a specific feature request: "I need support for the
pic18f0815---now!", well a bit less direct perhaps...).

The SDCC manual (available from the project Homepage at
http://sdcc.sourceforge.net/doc/sdccman.html/node113.html)
also sports an (outdated) list of 21 of the supported devices...

However, a Wiki comprising up-to-date information on the
pic16/pic14 ports as well as a "code guide to SDCC" seem to
be good ideas, once I find the time...
