Hi all,
I checked out SDCC from the CVS yesterday to get the sources to compile under M$ VC6.  I have the 8051 assembler complete with very small changes.  I intend to port all the apps to VC6 and I would like to know the following :
1. Is this worth the effort ? A Win32 console app which can be compiled with VC6 as well as Borland, GCC etc.
2. What is the correct procedure for submitting the changes ?
3. I would like to run the sources through "indent" to get a consistent coding style.  Is this going to create a problem at commit time ?  Do you enforce a coding style for commits ?  I can certainly run "indent" before diff'ng with what ever settings you wish.
