I'm currently looking for a way to simulate a real existing hardware (8051+LDC+button+EEPROM etc) because I have no way to debug the hardware with an emulator.
I know that SDCC uses uCsim for simulation but it seems to "only" simulate the microcontroller but it doesn't give a way to interact with it to simulate additional devices like LCD, button etc except for the serial port.
I'm looking something where I can for example write a small program to simulate LCD or EEPROM and connect it to the simulated microcontroller IO.
Is there a way to do this with uCsim or is there other simulator able to do this?
Maybe MCU 8051 IDE?
