When you go to https://sourceforge.net/projects/sdcc/files/ to download
the latest sdcc release, it features various 2.2.x releases as the "newest
files", and the actual newest release (2.9.0) is rather well hidden. Could
someone please fix this?
Unfortunately it is not possible: the info about "newest files" relays on the file's ctime, which can not be changed, at least not by a "common mortal" without a time traveling machine :-(
I tried to change atime and mtime but it didn't help: now the situation is even worse, since the ctime was updated to current time.
So we have to wait to sdcc 3.0.0 release, when the newer file will be uploaded.
Couldn't you fix it by updating the ctime of the 2.9.0 files to the current time, for example by re-uploading them?
I could and I did ;-)
Thanks for finding the solution,
