10. In Linux created SD container: win compat = yes, 100 MB, SHA1, Blowfish, vfat/msdos.

11. Password on first of the four lines.

12. Bingo it worked !

13. Ditto 3MB, password on 2 lines = worked.

14. Ditto, win compat = blank = worked.

15. Opened the Linux created containers in Win98SE successfully and again in Linux.

16. Seems like my previous problems were an aberration but must be careful about cipher choice because of the Scramdisk partial incompatibility : Win98SE  (SD 3.01A release 3) = Blowfish, Tea 16 & 32, IDEA, DES, Square, Misty one & Triple DES 168 bit
