Hello,

like Hannes, I also felt the lack of Scramdisk for Linux
for many years. Two years ago I decided to do it myself.
Now I just finished a beta version including a kernel
driver (building with kernels 2.4 and 2.6) and a GUI for
handling containers built with Qt. It works for me on SuSE
9.0, 9.1 and 9.2. The code will be put under the GPL and
I am looking for beta testers.

There seems to be not much activity on the sourceforge.net
project Scramdisk 4 Linux yet. So I want to ask wether the
maintainers of the project would like to host or adopt my
developement. Of course I want to be engaged in further
developements and decisions on it.

Please let me hear what you think about that.
