That works for me; it wouldn't hurt even to do a 0.99.7 release sooner
rather than later... it's a good way to gain momentum and let people
know that you're working on it.  Plus lots of folks may want a new
release that builds against Guile-1.4... and you'll get practice putting
together a release.
