Is scwm alive?

I was just wondering what is happening on this page.  I'm interested in working on scwm, but I can't even get it to build at the moment.  My Guile is too new :-(

Hopefully there's an update in the works, or perhaps already available.

This really does look like an execellent project, and the only one that looks like it is anywhere near some of the features that I want in a window manager.

I'm not sure what the current state of development is.  I've been using it as my regular window manager for over a year now.  I just recently compiled from sources to get the constraint stuff working.  It compiled just fine with guile 1.3.4.  Is there a newer version of guile that it doesn't compile with?

I'd really like to see this window manager stay alive since the scripting is incredibly useful and scheme is a relatively nice language to script in.

Scwm is alive.  I've taken over maintainence of the project as Greg is too busy to work on it anymore.  I'm still getting up to speed on how everything works and trying to figure out what needs to be done.  The focus at this point is getting to a version 1.0 release with new features after that point.

The version in CVS should now work with Guile 1.4.  I have no idea about later versions.  I'd be interested in knowing if it works for you.

scwm will not build against the latest guile.

I'll try the CVS release to see, but it would be nice if you would post the latest sources as a tarball, to make it easier and faster to get
      hold of.
