Lands of Lore supports moving your party of characters via the keyboard. Not just arrow keys, but the numpad keys 4 - 9 duplicate the on-screen movement buttons. (Maybe more, I don't remember exactly.) My daring guesstimation is that the numpad is indeed the most popular or at least the most efficient of way moving while the mouse hand takes care of the fighting, spells, inventory etc. Sadly many devices and keyboards lack a numerical keypad or would have you play with your arms crossed when a pointer device is integrated in the device/keyboard and located to the left of the numpad.
I'm requesting that the numpad movement keys have duplicates on the left-hand side of the keyboard, namely the keys Q, W, E, A, S and D. That, or the keys be entirely user-configurable.
Lands of Lore is not supported officially currently, thus I will close this report till it is.
Since LoL is officially supported now, this feature request is now valid, thus reopening
Side-note: This happens to be addressed in my keymapping pull request.
https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm/pull/109
The keymapper is disabled by default on Windows/Linux/Mac builds though.
In fact the keymapper is the way to go. When the keymapper is mature enough it should be enabled on the desktop platforms too anyway.
So untill this is done, I don't think this feature will happen. Athrxx expressed he doesn't like it (hard coded into the engine for now). And I share that view on it.
