I'm using the following ScummVM win32 versions: 0.11.1 and last svn (30-5-2008).
I'm playing the Italian talkie version of Simon the Sorcerer 1.
At the very end of the game, when a big hand takes simon from his bed, the lines Simon should say don't come up. When the scene is over, it stops with the view on Simon's bedroom for a few minutes, probably waiting for those lines to show up. and they eventually do, leaving the following error in the command windows for four times:

If you play through the end sequence again, can you still reproduce the problem?
Timer issues of this type are usually difficult to reproduce, if triggered by specific event(s).
Or easy reproduced, if caused by a bug in the script or the video script of the game.

well, it happens every time i play through the end sequence.
you mean that everyone should be able to reproduce it? or it could be a problem in the script of my version of the game?

Could try copying the data files from the original CD again, in case of minor corruption in the data files.
Since you can easily reproduce the issue, it sounds like a bug in script or video script of the original game though.
Unfortunately I don't own the Italian version of Simon the Sorcerer 1, and the problem doesn't occur in the English versions of Simon the Sorcerer 1 (AmigaCD32, DOS CD and Windows CD).

copying the data files again doesn't work.
I guess I have to wait for someone who can find this bug (if any) in the italian version.
thank you for your help

Same problem: We might be able to fix the issue, if we had access to the italian version; but I guess most of us only have the english and maybe german version of Simon, so... :-/
I'm unable to reproduce the problem with the Italian version provided by GOG.com.
Which Italian version are you using? the one with .VOC sound files, or .WAV sound files?
