Looks like 0.2.8 works in this respect, thanks.

Just my 0.02 $/Euros...I wouldn't worry about that too much.  As long
as at least one representation is available, the urgency of supporting
alternate ones is pretty low IMO.

Understood; that's why I didn't want my specific issues taking too much
of your time.

But re the checking...I made an intentionally cyclic MSC, and the check-
er finds the violation.  But clicking the "show" link yields an error
dialog titled "Sequence Chart Studio" with the message "Failed to open a
MSC document template." and an <OK> button (this is better than 0.2.7,
in which clicking on "show" crashed Visio).

I installed to C:\ProgramFiles\SequenceChartStudio and my Visio file
path settings are:
- Templates
    "C:\ProgramFiles\SequenceChartStudio\stencils\Sequence Chart Studio"
- Stencils
    "C:\ProgramFiles\SequenceChartStudio\stencils\Sequence Chart Studio"
- Add-ons
    C:\ProgramFiles\SequenceChartStudio\bin
