Hi! First of all, thank you for your interest in the add-on! There is a master thesis that describes capability of the current version. You may download it from http://is.muni.cz/th/72519/fi_m/thesis.pdf. First part of the thesis includes a nice introduction of the implemented MSC subset. When time permits I plan to extend the User Instructions document http://www.fi.muni.cz/~xgottha1/scstudio/UserInstructions.pdf to cover also tutorial on how to use the Visio interface. Besides these two documents there is currently no other tutorial. Concerning your intention: You should drag/drop two "Line Instance" and two "Message" shapes on the page. Then move the message line begin/end close to an instance line, so it gets glued. The only problem is that the current add-on version does not support parameters. (Of course, any missing functionality can be implemented.) Do you want just to display the parameter, or do you expect the algorithms to verify how the values "flow" through the system? Is there a tutorial in order to start using your add-on? It seems to be a good approach to build and verify MSCs according to the description of the page, however some hints are necessary. I want to build a MSC where two nodes (A and B) exchange messages (request and reply) that have parameters inside them. For example, >From A to B: request(x) B sets x=1; >From B to A: reply(x=1) A reads x Is such scenario possible?
