One Year Hiatus Over

ScrumTime users and contributors,

After a year long hiatus working on a "for money" project, I am going to make a push to close out Release 1.0 of ScrumTime. This will include bug fixes and possibly an installer application. I can commit the next two months to this effort.

I have had a few requests for supporting Oracle and adding multi-language support. These two items will need to be pushed into a future release for which I hope to get time to pursue.... read more

Release 0.9 Beta 1 Available

Release 0.9 Beta 1 is the first release that is implemented in C# ASP.NET MVC2. This is a complete product that may be used to manage real products. However, it is considered a pre-1.0 release for a reason.

ScrumTime v0.9 Beta 1 - Oct 18, 2010

ScrumTime will have its first release of a fully featured version on October 18, 2010. This release will be known as 0.9 Beta 1. The implemented features include:
- multiple users
- multiple products
- inline backlog editing
- graphical sprint and release scheduling
- sprint burndown chart
- backlog story allocation chart
- daily scrum entry per sprint

Shift In Focus For Release 1.0

Based on user feedback, the focus for Scrum Time 1.0 has shifted.

From:
multiple organization support
To:
single organization support
Justification:
reduce unnecessary complexity when locally hosted

From:
focus on freely hosted site
To:
focus on downloadable war and db create scripts
Justification:
most users expect to locally host Scrum Time

Version 0.5 20081202 Deployed To ScrumTime.net

The latest code drop of Version 0.5 20081202 has been deployed to scrumtime.net.

This is the second 0.5 deployment. This drop adds the ability to create, edit, and remove products and releases. Also, support has been added to hide user information for users that choose not be be listed in the directory during the user registration.
