    Hi Stefan,

Thanks for such a great project. Have you tought about moving it to github (or something similar for that matter)? I think it would make it more likely for other people to contribute and therefore would make ScriptCommander known to a broader audience.

Me, personnally I prefer git over svn everyday. I think it makes it easier for multiple parties to collaborate. Projects can easily be forked or worked on in private offline branches. If a new feature is ready for prime-time it's easy for you to merge pull requests from any user.
As mentioned I believe that github has more users and therefore more momentum for open-source projects of any kind.
I have the feeling, that ScriptCommunicator could need a little more spot light. It's no doubt a great project that does not have many competitors. So it should have much more presence. I could be wrong, but I think hosting it on github would help.

    Best regards,
    cee

I think I know what you mean. But on sourceforge you have the possibility to upload prebuild packages. If you open the project page sourceforge shows you the suitable package for you os.
Maybe it is the best to combine sourceforge and github (move the code to github and upload the prebuild packages on sourceforge). What do you think?

    Best regards,
    Stefan

Yes, you're right, github is not that good in handling prebuilt packages.
If keeping two repositories would be manageable from your side, I think this could work.

It would definitely make it easier to contribute, and would let you still have control on what get's pushed to the main tree.

    Kind regards,
    cee

Great, that was fast. Seems to be your speed on any requests. Already checked it out.
    Thanks a lot.
Where would you prefer to have open issues and feature requests discussed?

    Hi cee,

I would prefer the project main page (sourceforge). But you can use github too.

    Best regards,
    Stefan
