I tried to compile this snapshot but have a lot of trouble :
due to the new print.c file I had to upgrade the gnome-print-devel
package to get the new header files.
Due to this change the librairies used to link the whole stuff also
changed so the Makefile is out of date.
To rebuild the Makefile I ran configure but it stops when checking
the gnome-print version with the message
/usr/lib/libdb.so.2: undefined reference to `_xstat'
/usr/lib/libdb.so.2: undefined reference to `_fxstat'
This seems due to the fact that "gnome-config --libs print" now
returns "-ldb" on the output line (was -ldb1 before).
Any idea how I could fix that ?

I'm not really sure here, I've commited an update for print.c which will
only try and build if you use --with-gtkhtml so that may be a temporary
fix for that.
When you say gnome-print-devel did you update gnome-print as well?
