As part of the current development version I'm moving the upload wizard
to using gnome-vfs. This currently works for SCP and WebDAV so specific
options for those have gone. If no one is using RCP then I will remove
support for it (there is no gnome-vfs support for RCP that I know of)
For anyone using the CVS version of screem, the local method supports
all gnome-vfs methods, just change the remote host to include the
scheme. http://localhost for webdav for example. FTP can't currently
be used like this due to gnome-vfs always logging in anonymously unless
the username/password are part of the url.
The username will automatically be added to the remote host by screem
when it comes to uploading, so there is no need to set the remote host
to something like sftp://davek@... if the username has
been set in the site settings. I'm currently undecided as to whether
the password field should also be added, as the standard gnome keyring
can be used to keep passwords, the password may be completely removed
from the site settings.
