I'm fairly new to linux, but seemed to be finding my way OK until now. I was able to configure screem (after much trouble, as SuSE puts all necessary files in /opt/gnome rather than /usr/local), but I am now unable to run make without getting the following error:

    /bin/sh: line 1: glib-genmarshal: command not found

The thing is, I know where glib-genmarshal is, it's in /opt/gnome/bin, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to tell the make file this. Can anyone help?

sounds like /opt/gnome/bin is not in $PATH.

      export PATH=/opt/gnome/bin:$PATH
