Problem with html and php

    Hi all,

    I have been running screem 0.12.1 on Debian and have found an interesting problem with the code completion:

    <input type="text" name="summary" value="<? echo $summary; ?>">

    screem 0.12.1 will turn this into:
    <input type="text" name="summary" value="<? echo $summary; ?&gr;">

    it would be really nice if screem didn't second guess me.

      screem is not second guessing you, that is technically invalid markup you are using.

      PHP, and ASP etc. provide problems handling in these circumstances that do need sorting out though.

        Why doesn't it also goof up the <? then?

      a bug probably, seems to do it here.   sorting PHP issues out is quite low priority at the moment as well
