There are two issues I'm having with character movement.
1) Unable to select destination for movement, even though the space is open and there is a path. This is particularly prevalent around doors, where it's impossible to move to an area that's hidden by the door frame. Instead I get the tooltip telling the composition of the doorframe.

The location of the "hotspot" on the mouse pointer icon may be making this problem even worse. Rather than the pointing indes finger, the hotspot seems to be near the center of the icon, at the knuckle.

2) The character pathing algorithm during real-time mode needs some kind of a timing element put in, so that rather than giving up completely, the character tries again after a random amount of time. Also, if a path is blocked it should be able to distinguish between movable objects (other characters and non-hostile NPCs) and non-movable ones (furnishings and enemies).

I'm writing this up as a bug, since the movement doesn't make sense within the game universe, but given your current version number, I can see this as a "feature in progress" that's good enough for current version.

Other visual miscues: on the inventory screen, when selecting an item after clicking the "Apply" button (cross-hair icon), tool-tips pop up for adjacent items, rather than for the item actually under the cross-hairs. This also appears to be a mouse hot-spot issue.
