    Hi,
I created testing archive with one file named ěščřžýáíé.txt and packed it as *.7z.
    When I run command
        $ 7z l my-archive.7z
    I get:

Date      Time    Attr         Size   Compressed  Name
    ------------------- ----- ------------ ------------  ------------
    2008-01-27 18:16:37 ....A      1386869      1353469  test-?????▒▒▒▒.mp3

I tried come conversion via iconv, but I got no results.
The file was compressed on Windows Vista, unpacked on Linux.
Any idea how to solve it, or convert the encoding?

    Thanks, Hrach

You can write to p7zip forum.
And does it extract file correctly?

No, extracted file has the same wrong filename...
Do you think it is conected with linux implementation?

      Hello everyone,

      maybe I overlooked something...
You wrote "compressed on Windows Vista, unpacked on Linux"
But what happens when unpacking under Vista...?

      Best regards!

      When I try
          7z l my-archive.7z  | iconv -f ISO_8859-2 -t UTF-8
      I got:
          test-?????ýáíé.mp3
      The same for CP1250.
