SconeServer / News: Recent posts

I am pleased to announce the first official release of SconeServer - a modular, object-orientated and extremely versatile network server framework for UNIX-like platforms.

This initial release includes:

* Connection routing from IP4, IP6, Bluetooth and Local sockets.
* HTTP Web server module (HTTP versions 1.0 and 1.1).
* External program execution, including Web server CGI support.
* Secure Sockets Layer module using OpenSSL, including HTTPS support.
* Statistics module.
* Simple TCP/IP services: echo, discard, daytime, etc.
* TestBuilder - a code test build system with web interface.... read more

Two VMware virtual machines with SconeServer-0.6.0 and TestBuilder preconfigured, running on either Slackware Linux 10.2 (achernar) or OpenBSD 3.9 (hadar).

As well as demonstrating SconeServer in action on two different Operating Systems, these Virtual Machines can also be used as automated test build servers and also general purpose development machines.

The SconeServer website (http://sconeserver.sourceforge.net) should now be working. There's not much to see yet.
