Dear Dmitry, Sharpening algorithms do not change the FSC-resolution of the map. They only enhance the visualization. The reason why in relion-postprocessing the FSC changes is because of masking, but not because of the high frequency boosting that the postprocessing does. So summarizing, sharpening approaches do not change the resolution of the map. Same occurs for local resolution methods based on SNR (blocres, MonoRes and ResMap).
