Hi, K3 gain/dark reference stability is still a problem I believe (especially in CDS mode), so I am not surprised that you do it every gridsquare. Acquiring a new gain takes 15-20 min on K3. The workaround in scipion would be to import every gridsqaure separately and run motioncor2, then join the outputs.
